Interfacial coordination chemistry for catalyst preparation

چکیده
The concept of interfacial coordination chemistry was one the innovation for which Michel Che became internationally known during his tenure as full professor at Université Pierre et Marie Curie. Isolated metal ions on oxide surfaces behave like compounds to surface contributes not only via neutral oxo bridges but also hydroxyl groups. latter being pH sensitive, can be charged either positively or negatively, allowing selective adsorption transition opposite charge. In early eighties, examples exploiting these properties preparation oxide/metal supported catalysts were still rare. This review presents Che’s studies, mostly molybdenum and nickel ions, he built, developed promoted chemistry, now widely used in field heterogeneous catalysis. allowed him close collaborators achieve a molecular-scale understanding several catalyst procedures, such impregnation, adsorption, grafting, deposition–precipitation, zeolite functionalization. impact legacy Interfacial Coordination Chemistry current design improved catalytic formulations is reviewed.

Rhenium Nanochemistry for Catalyst Preparation
The review presents synthetic approaches to modern rhenium-based catalysts. Creation of an active center is considered as a process of obtaining a nanoparticle or a molecule, immobilized within a matrix of the substrate. Selective chemical routes to preparation of particles of rhenium alloys, rhenium oxides and the molecules of alkyltrioxorhenium, and their insertion into porous structure of ze...
متن کاملIntegrated CO2 capture-fixation chemistry via interfacial ionic liquid catalyst in laminar gas/liquid flow
Simultaneous capture of carbon dioxide (CO2) and its utilization with subsequent work-up would significantly enhance the competitiveness of CO2-based sustainable chemistry over petroleum-based chemistry. Here we report an interfacial catalytic reaction platform for an integrated autonomous process of simultaneously capturing/fixing CO2 in gas-liquid laminar flow with subsequently providing a wo...

Essential oil of Citrus family plant is known to have repellent effect against mosquito. Unfortunately, due to its high volatility effect, its repellency effect was compromised. The incorporation of essential oil in a microencapsulation formulation has been shown to help improve the stability and potency of the repellent. In this study, Citrus grandis peel oil (CGPO) was encapsulated by using t...
